Research Review vs. Hands-On Review
Every mower is clearly labeled either a Research Review or a Hands-On Review. Research Review means we've studied the manufacturer documentation, specifications, owner experiences and retail availability — but have not physically tested the mower. Hands-On Review means we have. We never imply hands-on testing unless it actually occurred.
No invented specifications or ratings
We do not invent product specifications, performance data, prices, ratings, awards or compatibility claims. If we can't verify a claim, we don't make it. Slope, area, navigation and boundary details are sourced from manufacturer documentation and stated with their original units.
Compatibility is reasoned, not scored
We don't assign arbitrary star ratings or fake review scores. Instead, we explain which yard conditions a mower fits, which are worth considering, and which need a careful check — with the reasoning stated so you can judge it for your own yard.
Commerce ≠ editorial
Affiliate relationships never determine editorial conclusions. The order, inclusion and positioning of mowers is based on research, not on which link pays more. Affiliate disclosure is visible near product links and in full on the disclosure page.
